To sum it up, Whiplr is the only location-based messenger that helps you find potential play partners, online or in person. You can text, chat and video chat with potential play partners without ever leaving the app. They’ve included “Sparks”, a series of playful animations, to help you kick-start your conversation. You can also search through their list of worldwide fetish-related events to see who else is attending and make new friends beforehand. Find a play partner close by with your phone’s GPS, or find someone to play with in another city across the globe. You don’t have to travel when you can chat and video chat for free all within the app. However you choose to play, you will always do it in a secure and safe manner, where you can block unwanted users and delete chats and shared images from both ends of any conversation. The one feature that I hope they will add at some point is the ability to use it on my desktop and laptop as my typing on phone skills are pretty bad!
