Now that 2013 draws to a close, it’s time for the constant barrage of lists in just about every form of popular media. Sexiest man lists. Celeb fashion victim lists. You know the drill. It happens every year and can be a pleasant diversion from the “serious business of life”!

All of this list-making generally starts a few says before Thanksgiving with endless lists about “Fun Turkey Facts”, really ramps up the week before New Years with the lists of “Heros”, who passed away during the past year, and then spills right over into January and February with the Porn Awards at AVN and XBIZ, and on to the Golden Globes and Oscars.

Not to be left out of the action, I decided to compile a set of “strange but true” sex facts that originally appeared in a cute little book you might consider getting for someone as a gift this holiday season.
